First day of school and the rest of my life ALONE :(

School started on a Tuesday so the night before the kids put on everything they wanted to wear to school the next day and we had a fashion show. Then I read the book 'You are Special' to remind them that they are wonderful. If you haven't read it, which I'm sure you have, do it!!

Here is yet another picture of them liking each other. AWWWW

Front door shot. Everyone has one of these.

Joel and his amazing teacher!

I love her face cuz it's exactly how I feel every year on the first day of school.

This is me running away from school saying "What kind of sick, rotten place is this I ask? Every year they rip my baby's away from me and this year they took my final one! I hate school!!"
(-Give me a month, I may change my mind:))

Its fixed!!

So as you can see my blog background is blank. After posting last i decided to change things up and give the blog a face lift. I don't know how to do much on this thing but I thought I could change the backdrop at least. So I went to a website got the backdrop and posted it. Only problem is it totally killed my blog!! I have not been able to post the kids first day of school shots or the Canada trip shots...but I found a wonderful website that walked me through getting rid of the backdrop as it obviously didn't work so.... I'm BACK! :)

Our Summer in Pic's

The boys did soccer camp the day school got out!

Go Joel! and team Italy

Go Jared! and team Mexico

Go Josh! and team Brazil

Go team Italy! Oh and team Mexico! And team Brazil!

We drove Ryan down to California so she could go to the same girls camp as I did while I was growing up.

I did not want her to go afterall. I was a wreck for the whole week! I was so nervous for her. 7 days is a long time to be gone from your daughter- I mean your mom! :)

Out on a walk in the California hills.

My sister Kim got out her scuba gear and let the boys scuba in thier pool.

Josh loved it.

Jared's got it.

We stopped at Crater Lake for a few days

Yes the water is that blue. It was Beautiful!!

I love this picture because it shows that the kids actually like eachother. (at least for the moment)

We celebrated Grandma's birthday. She doesn't look a day over 29 does she!

I got to go to cub scout camp with Josh again this year.

Josh with some friends

We saw retired airplanes on the airforce base.

WE went to Canada but that has to be it's own post. It was so fun!

We spent a few days at Silver mountain in Idaho. They have an indoor waterpark that is really fun and we also spent a day at the mines looking for gold. We found rocks. :)

Inside the mine.

All four of the kids did a baseball camp put on by the Tacoma Rainers. It was so fun. The kids got to work on the field and be coached by the players and staff of the team.

Boys up in the bleachers having lunch

Joel getting some pointers from pitcher Dan Cortes. This guy was so AMAZING with my kids. He can throw a 98 mile an hour fast ball! Our favorite player for the Rainers.

Dan Cortes with Joel again.

Jared faces off against Mike Wilson of the Tacoma Rainers. Yes he is out there. I couldn't get any closer and Jared looked so cute and small out there I had to include it if only for me.

Josh works with the infielder on the tee

Ryan hits the cages

We went away, just adults with a few friends for a waterski trip.

What do you do when you have to go to the bathroom and your stuck on the freeway you might ask? Walk across the freeway and hike up into the trees. Way to go- and... no pun intended

Not bad for a 30 something year old

Looking good babe

WE hit Silverwood theme park back in Idaho for the final summer trip!

TEMORS the greatest wooden roller coaster I have EVER been on-GO!!!

Spirit Week

This is the kids last week of school. FINALLY!!! So they get to dress up crazy each day and have 'fun'. I have fun in ' ' because there are limits to the 'fun'.

Today was crazy hair and clothes day. But no hair color or dye allowed. STUPID!

Ryan got a hold of Jared. He wanted spikes all over his head and this is Ry's way of getting it done. We thought it was hilarious.
Josh wanted it just crazy, so we took his big'ol head of hair and well, left it how he looks when he wakes up. (with a tiny bit of help on one side to make it even.) That boy has SO much hair and it's on the long side, even though we cut off 2 inches this weekend.

When I picked them up from school...both had their hair brushed neatly and normal. I guess the 'fun' of crazy hair day wore off pretty quick.

So I will be posting pictures of the Duby kids so there wonderful Auntie can see what they are up too and hopefully that will entice her to come and visit us when she gets a break from studying~HINT, HINT!!!
